Wrong email updating takes more then 5 days still
I recently purchased a hosting plan and domain through Bluehost's chat service. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be incredibly frustrating due to an initial mistake and unresponsive customer support.
The Wrong Start:
During the chat, the agent made a typographical error while entering my email address, finalizing the purchase with an incorrect email. Recognizing the mistake, I immediately contacted chat support again, following the agent's instructions to request a correction.
Five Days of Chat ***
What followed was five days of utter disappointment. I spent a staggering 10 hours communicating with Bluehost's chat service, only to encounter repeated issues. The experience left me feeling frustrated and unheard.
Uneducated and Unresponsive:
The biggest problem with the chat support was the apparent lack of training and communication skills. Often, it felt like the chat agents weren't even reading my messages before responding. They provided generic replies that didn't address my specific issue of the incorrect email.
$5 Down the Drain:
Hoping for a more productive interaction, I decided to call customer service, incurring a $5 international call fee. Unfortunately, the phone experience wasn't much better. All the representatives offered were vague assurances that the issue would be "fixed soon."
Overall:
Bluehost's chat support proved to be a massive time sink and a source of frustration. The lack of knowledge and communication skills displayed by the agents was unacceptable. The phone support, while less time-consuming, offered no concrete solutions.
Considering Alternatives:
This experience has definitely cast a shadow on my perception of Bluehost's services. I'm now seriously considering migrating my hosting to a provider that prioritizes customer support and accuracy.

Over charged
I have been well over charged for my domain I would like it greatly if someone can please contact me on 047881**** asap to get this issue resolved before I have to further this issue else where

Dishonest Sales Tactics
Chatted with sales about transferring my site from another company. During the transfer, I was informed my request can't be completed, because I would need to hire their designers & purchase additional add-ons.
I cancelled my service using customer support, but the individual avoided my questions that all monies paid will be refunded 100%. Only 50% was refunded within days, then my 2nd call requesting the additional unpaid monies would involve the BBB if my request isn't completed immediately.

Service Information and Billing
Blue Host signed me up for a one time monthly service called, Blue Sky pro last October. They charged me 149.00 every month until December.
Then in January to May they changed the name of the charge to WP Live Pro and charged 165.00. In October, I was told I would only be charge for the one month I requested to get accustom to the site. I never agreed to have this service auto renew, they, of course, have the power to set it to auto renew. After a family tragedy, I was stupid enough never to check my credit card.
Finally getting it back together and started looking into my charge being so high and saw all the charges every month from Blue Host. I asked why they changed the price and they told me it was due to inflation. Never got a notice and was never told. Just because they have it on auto renew they can do this apparently.
So check your credit cards if you have Blue Host.
When I called in it took 20 minutes to get someone only to tell me I need to contact another department. Then the guy said he looked at my account and could tell I have not had any activity since October last year. Apparently they can see the history of service so support reps getting know if they are getting knowledgeable customer using the service. Even though they could see I never used the service, they continue to charge and will not refund or credit all the months.
They said they would refund me 2 months and that was generous, I should be happy.
I was so stupid for letting this happen, but life gets in the way. Greedy companies like this make me sad.

Charging me after cancellation
I have several webpages. I bought a domain and used Bluehost but it didnt work.
The system was too difficult to maneuver and was easier without Bluehost at all.
But the service was very expensive so I contacted them to cancel their service and they said it was canceled.
They continued charging me months after it was canceled. They have ripped me off big time.

Failed to terminate
I have several websites. I obtained an additional site which included the Bluehost service.
Bluehost service failed to work properly on my computer and it was impossible to use to develop the site.
My other sites were much easier to use without the Bluehost service.
I contacted Bluehost several times to cancel the service but they kept charging me even though I wasnt using the service.
I have been ripped off when they said they would cancel it and they never did.

Wordpress login issue
I cannot open WordPress. When l open WordPress DNS error showing.some times 403 error also showing the Wordpress.
Preferred solution: I want to open Wordpress
To restore service
my service,its always updating and buffering when you trying to watch a picture.is their another service that you all have or can recommend for a better service.i would love to stay but i never get a chance to enjoy my programs,their is always an interruption.
There is no customer service
I tried chat and noone responded. I tried to call the two numbers listed.
Both were in Vietnam and wrong. So, there's no way to contact Bluehost.

I purchased a hosting plan with this company, we didn't use their services at all, I call them to let them know I won't use their services and they told me there is a 30 day money back and I did call after that time,I spoke with Re and she wasn't able to hep, not even offer a prorated refund... WON'T Consider THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE

Haven't Been Able to Edit my Site in 3 Weeks
Poor Tech Support. I haven't been able to edit my site in over 3 weeks.
They know they have the problem but can't seem to get it resolved.
What?! Probably leaving this company ASAP.

My call was interrupted or shutdown the first time I contacted customer service. The second time i spoke to Jay and he resolved my issues.

Charged my card without authorization
Kept charging my card without authorization and then took my website down even though i paid for it for the year.

Horrible Customer Service
Long wait times, I was on hold for 1 hr and 12 minutes. The customer service agent "Gelai" case # 364128 had roosters in the background making it very difficult to hear her along with her accent.
She was unable to answer questions, and refused to transfer to a supervisor. After I told her I would not hang up until I spoke to a supervisor, she placed me on hold for over an hour. I spoke to supervisor "Joesph" who refused to provide a case number for the call. Stated he would provide the case number and then hung up me.
Terrible way to treat others. Horrible customer service
